How long does it usually take to get a State ID?

A simple CA. ID it's like the equivalent of a license but it doesn't give you permission to drive a vehicle. It's given to minors, seniors and adult who do not drive. I need one but I would like to know how long it takes to receive it after you applied for it.

well depending on how slow they are it could take hours but be sure to bring 20 bucks ,2 pieces of mail ,and a picture id as well as a signiture verfication i.e your social security card or a credit card

you get it the same day you go to the office,take the picture then be seated and wait for your name to be called and bam,there's your i.d. card.

you have to take your permit either online classes or 30 hour classes

then you take your permit and wait 6 months to take your license test, in the mean time you have to take 3 behind the wheels for 2 hours and when you take your license it usually take 10+ minutes
