  1. idid at one year using side rails to keep them safe.  alot of people will disagree but i feel it safer than them climbing out of the crib and getting hurt vs. the height of a small bed

  2. With both of mine, I waited until they were able to sleep throughout the night without being fed (between 4-5 months) this was just the right time for them to cry themselves to sleep-without being harmed and early enough in their life to know that they would have to sleep on their own.

  3. Depends on whether the baby is tired and sleepy.  If our son is sleepy, he can goto sleep in less than a minute in our bed (with feeding) or his own bed/crib. Sometimes, it takes couple of hours. So it all depends.

    Good luck.

  4. For us, it's been four years.

Just relax about it, it will be OK.

  5. Daddy rocks him to sleep in the living room and then off to his crib in his room so in about 10 minutes...
