How long does it usually take to get your acceptance(or rejection) letter for college?

  1. if you applied for the fall term than you should have already received your letter. but it also depends on how early or late you applied to that school.  the best thing for you to do is call to the records and registration office of the school you want to attend and follow up with your admissions.  

    but if you are applying for the fall term of next year than you usually get your letter in may.


  2. It really depends on the college you're applying to, and the way you're applying (for instance as a freshman or a transfer).

    I personally haven't heard from my college, as a transfer student from one university to a bigger one, and my classes start in two weeks.

    If you're applying now to get in as a freshman, depending on what state you live in, you should hear towards mid November I think. Depending on the school, it could take until January. Most schools want you to have a decision made by May, so you should hear about 12 weeks after you've applied to your said school. Maybe sooner. Hope I helped!
