  1. 12 miles per hour is a nice, leisurely pace. If there are no big hills, figure on 10-15 minutes.

  2. Depends on how fast you are going, probably about 10 minutes.

  3. 10 mph = 6 minutes per mile

    12 mph = 5 minutes per mile

    15 mph = 4 minutes per mile

    18 mph =  3-1/2 minutes per mile

    20 mph = 3 minutes per mile

Once you know how fast your ride, you can get a good idea how long it will take.  Consider yourself lucky you are so close to school.  No need to drive or take the bus.  I wish I was that close to work.  I could get rid of one of my cars and save a whole lot of money.

  4. depend on how fast u going? about a good 15-20 mins

  5. Motor or pedal? Going up hill or down hill? How steep the grade? 10-speed or fixed 3-speed? Asphault, dirt, concrete or gravel? Traffic? Sidewalks? How many potholes? Windy? Rainy?

    If it's just a straight away shot, I would imagine a 10 - 15 minute ride max.

  6. At 214 MPH, not very long.  How fast can you pedal?

  7. You already know, hence the 2.14 miles.

Otherwise you wouldn't know it's exact distance down

to the 1/100 of a mile.

  8. should be that long,, maybe 10 no longer than 15 minutes,, hey but why dont you try it BEFORE school starts to check your on speed and time. so that you will know

  9. usually takes me around 15-30 mins,

  10. probably about 10-12 minutes

  11. yo get a car then you don't have to ask!!

  12. Not much more than15 minutes if the ground is relatively flat.  Maybe less, if a gang of kids are chasing you for your lunch money.

  13. It all depends on your speed.  Figure that out and you'll get better answers.

  14. presuming  you go 12 mph, it will take 10 to 11 minutes.

  15. Well if you're traveling 80 mph, about 28 seconds.

  16. about 7-15 minutes depending on how fast you're riding and what the route is like

  17. Give yourself a 30 minute window.

It will probably only take you about 16 - 21 minutes (depending upon how fast you pedal) but just in case...I always like to add a little time.

And good for you for wanting to get some exercise, not wanting to contribute to an energy crisis or global warming, wanting to save a little money, and most important:  for not wanting to take the bus!

  18. Not a realistic question as everyone is different, sorry.

Stop trying to live up to standards.

If you want an estimate, then go take a practice drive the day before or something.

    Best of luck

  19. Well, it would depend on your rate of speed.  If you were going around 10 mph on your bike it would take around 12 minutes.  If you were peddling slowly at 2 mph, it would take an hour.

  20. It depends on how ghetto your bike is.  If it's the kind of bike you see kids riding in the hood, it may take as long as 4 hours.  Also, if you have your little brother riding on the back, that can take another 30 minutes.

  21. 15 minutes? It all depends on how fast you ride. I've started riding to work, and it's about 7km (4miles) away and it takes me about 30 minutes. I am unfit though, but I have noticed that its getting easier.
