How long does liquid formula last?

We used the powdered formula with my daughter. I was wondering how the liquid kind works? Do you mix it with water and then refrigerate, how long is it good for?

There are 3 kinds of formula....powder, concentrate (has to be mixed 50/50 with water) and liquid ready-made that you add nothing too.  Bottles once prepared are good for 24 hrs no matter which one you use.  The cans say how long they are good for once opened but I know the one ready-made I have used before said good for 24 hrs after being opened.

yes you mix it with the same amount as formula to water and you refrigerate it for 6 to 8 hrs i think i know you cant keep it any longer then a day thats why they say use only 1 can per mixing.

There are two kinds of liquid formula...ready to use (you don't mix any water into it) and the concentrated kind that you do add equal parts of water to it.  The normal life of it once the can/bottle is opened is 2 days for any liquid I've ever used.

I use the concentrate kind (where you mix 50/50 with water). I open the can and put it in a pitcher in the refridgerator, it is good for 48 hours. The when I go to make my son a bottle I put 2 oz. concentrate with 2 oz. of HOT water from the sink. That usually makes the temp just right and I don't need to heat it further.

I use similac they have 2 kinds ready to use which you don't have to add water after opened it last 2 days. Then they have the kind that you add half water and half formula that also last 2 days
