  1. i think it is 6 months x

  2. You are travelling to an EU country on an EU passport. As long as your UK passport is valid and unexpired, you can travel anywhere within the EU.

However, it is in your interest to have at least 6 months left on your passport in case you want to travel outside the EU. The UK passport office will allow you to renew your passport up to 9 months before expiry and have the unused time added to your new passport.

  3. My god, there's an incredible amount of misinformation being posted on this thread. For travel within the EU the only restriction is that you be back in the UK by the time your passport expires.

That said, you have plenty of time to apply for your passport to be renewed - up to nine months of the remaining validity of your current passport can be added to the 10 years of your new passport.

  4. Some places are 3months others are 6months. This time frame starts on the date you are expected to land back in your home country. So if your passport expires Aug 08, no travel will be permitted as its after  Feb, making it impossible to be back with 6months remaining.

  5. Hello, The only legal requirement for you is that your Passport is valid for the duration of your stay in any EEC country. However as a renewal can take 4 to 6 weeks to obtain it is best to renew the passport within 6 weeks of expiry date if you need to travel abroad. The goverment quote is "Passports are valid for the duration of travel if in date"

  6. im sure its out of the eu you need it  to have 6 months on it like american and the dominican

i would call the airport and ask but im 99% sure its okay

  7. at least 6 months at the time you entry Italy

  8. as long as your passport is valid you can travel anywhere in the eu
