Sorry to be so descriptive but i've been having a thick, clear jelly like discharge for over a week now (it doesnt have a smell so i dont think it'll be an infection). I read sumwer that when you are ovulating you get a discharge like this but i wouldn't have it for that long would I?

  1. You have to be quick its only for one day a month. Just keep checking the special day is near with opk,s.

  2. The actual time from when the egg bursts from the follicle (ovulation) to the time it is degenerated  and no longer capable of being fertilized is 12-24 hours. You are fertile for 3 days before it bursts out (sperm can live this long inside you).

  3. a bout three days on day being the peek day, check your temp and the fluid coming out of you, the thicker the better

  4. Ovulation takes 15 minutes. Yes really! Some doctors in the Netherlands recently caught it on camera by accident, so now they know that it take a few minutes for the actual rupture to occur. So that's a direct answer to your question.

But more usefully, be sure to BD starting 5 days before your expected ovulation date, because if you've got fertile CM at that time, the sperm can live for 5 days and be ready when the precious egg pops out. Some eggs only live for 6 hours, so you've got to be ready for it!

  5. You are most fertile for 5 days before ovulation and 12 hours after.

  6. well actual ovulation is only one day but you are fertile a few days before so try and have lots of s*x for about 4 days before and ovulation day. Good luck x*x

  7. The egg is viable for only about 24 hours.
