  1. Well since oxycontin is an opiate then it is impossible for it to remain in your system after three days.  Though I'm guessing your talking about this for the sake of drug tests.  Well after three days it will not be detected in a urine test.  With a hair test and this is pretty much with any drug.  Wait two weeks after your last time.  Then shave your head and then it can not be detected though it can be in other hairs on your body.  In saliva tests its about the same for urine tests.

Oh by the way to the guy with the second answer.  I'm sorry but opiates clear your system after three days.  As far as your hair is concerned it will show up in your hair for two weeks and then it can not grow into your hair anymore I'm sorry.  When you cut that off and your hair grows back and an inch is more than enough for it to grow for them to do a test on.  If it's not quite an inch then they will just cut your hair two times.  If it's just way too short they will take hair from another part of your body which in that case your screwed.  I was in the military to so please spare me with that.

If you have very long hair you can be tested even up to a year back for certain things, you can be but not likely since they ussualy only take about an inch the inch closest to your scalp.  But if they tested the whole length then yes you could test positive even a year after.

  2. Not sure where the three days thing came from.

The military routinely checks for opiates (and others), frequently catching people near to the 30 day mark.

    Not sure about beyond that.
