How long does referencing take?

Question

I have found a flat to rent and paid my £200 holding deposit. The estate agents have started the referencing and it was an online form with a different company. I completed it two days ago and I was just wondering how long it would take - and also whether I would not get the flat because I have an IVA? I can afford the rent & I would be living with my boyfriend who has a great credit rating.

All depends on how lond it takes for your refrences take to respond back to the new land lord.
