How long does shipping from China to Texas take?

Bought an item off ebay on monday and it hasn't left Shanghi, China yet........am wondering how long i will have to wait for my item. thanks

From China, you'll be looking at close to a month, which does factor in US Customs inspections and so forth.

I ordered an item that was shipped from China and received it in 5 days from the day I ordered it, 6/27/08.

It was shipped from Shanghai on 6/29/08, arrived in the US via Customs in Chicago and I had it in hand here in Cincinnati, OH on 7/2/08.  My item was shipped via EMS and I was able to track it's progress through the USPS website as well as the EMS website.

took about 2.5 weeks to get a new hard drive for my computer from shaghai to indiana

It depends on the shipping method that was used. If it was express(EMS) shipping then it should take no more then seven days from the date of shipment. If it was airmail then no more than a month from the date of shipment. I get packages from over seas all the time mainly from Japan because I have family there. You might want to ask the seller if they have mailed off your item yet before you start to get worried. I hope this helps.

I received two items from Taiwan to Texas in about 12 days. It took them 3 day to get it in the mail and 9 days to actually be in transit.
