  2. If you are at least 18 years old and:

    Are currently married to and living with a U.S. citizen;

    and

    Have been married to and living with that same U.S.

    citizen for the past 3 years;

    and

    Your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the past 3 years.

    and you have been a Permanent Resident for 3 years (from the date on your green card)

    and 3 years as a Permanent Resident without leaving the

    United States for trips of 6 months or longer.

  3. it depends, but i think about 2 years..you have to have proof, photos, same address, etc.

  4. There is a time as LPR requirement to become a US citizen, along with other requirements.

    If your adjustment of status to an LPR was based on a marriage to a US citizen, and you have been married to and living with that US citizen for the past 3 years and your spouse has been a US citizen for the last 3 years, then you need to have had 3 years as an LPR to meet this requirement. If you don't meet this composite requirement (say you'd been married for 3, but your spouse was only a citizen for 2) then you need to have been an LPR for 5 years.

  5. That sounds like you are getting married just to gain citizenship and collect American FREE benefits. We need to change that policy quickly.

  6. 2 YEARS IF MARRIED TO A US CITIZEN 5 TO TEN IF YOUR NOT

  7. 3 years
