How long does strep throat last?

yea im taking medication i just wanted to know if you you could approximate a given amount of time.

It depends...mine lasted 2 weeks b4...thats b/c at first the doctor gave me the wrong perscription and it wasn't make me better at all. Once i got the perscription it didn't take long. Sometimes itt takes a week to get over strep throat. Just take ALL your medication the doctor perscribed u and give it a week.

You need an antibiotic to get rid of true strep throat. Once you are taking the medicine you should be better in 48 hours, but you must finish your medication. There are all kinds of complications that can result from ignoring Strep so go to the clinic. Hope you feel better soon.
