I was 11 weeks pregnant when i miscarried on July 1st. My cycle tried to come down on August 2nd but it was kind of spotty and it went away only after 3 days. I took 3 pregnancy tests....2 came back positive and 3 negative? Is it possible to be pregnant again or is it my hcg hormones?

  1. thats an iffy question. I would advise you to definately go see your on.  Have them take a HCG level test. See if the levels have came down or if it is now going I bet they will order one the day you go in there and then one in two days later.  It is very well possible that you could be preggo again or that you may still have some of the hormone levels left from the miscarraige which really isn't a good sign either.

  2. I am no doctor but I heard after you have a miscarriage you tend to be very very fertile for the following 6 weeks..so there is a good possiblity that you are pregnant again if you engaged in intercourse between the time of your miscarriage and now but the hormone does stay in your system for a good amount of time but everybody is different. When i had my miscarriage my hormones dropped dramatically the next day but if you are trying to conceive wait a little while and go get a blood test or an ultra sound...best of luck to you!

  3. I believe your levels go back to normal somewhere between 4-6 weeks. I know it took almost 5 weeks for mine to go back to normal after both of my miscarriages. You could be lucky and you could be pregnant so wait week or two and take another test. If it still comes up positive go have a blood test done. They should be able to tell the difference between the HCG levels by then. Good luck and God Bless.

  4. Didn't the docs do bloodtests every week till they dropped back to 0? Mine did. Took 3 weeks for mine to bottom out. I miscarried at 6 weeks.
