Since it is friday now and banks are typically not open on the weekend I would say, if it was deposited today, then you should see the money next week, probably tuesday or wednesday. If it was a cash deposit then tuesday for sure, but if it was a check, then you may not see the money until next friday.

If it is a personal check, it will take 10 business days before the bank will release money to you.  Wire transfers are immediate credit - no waiting time.  Cashier's checks usually clear by the next business day.

Wire transfer is the fastest, most secure method.

Presuming the check was good... the bank probably put a 10 day hold on it.
