How long does the average pro cyclist sleep?

  1. Professional cyclists probably get a few more hours of sleep on average than the normal person does, but not a lot. Like with "normal" people, some cyclists can get by on 6-7 hours of sleep, while others need 8-9. It all depends. The one thing that most professional cyclists don't have is a problem getting to sleep. During the season the two things I always looked forward to most, were eating, and sleeping. Basically, it's ride, eat, sleep, and repeat.
