My period was on July 30th and it lasted until the 3rd of August. Then on the 9th until 14th I had cervical mucous sticky, creamy, watery and egg white looking glob. Is it during this time you are supposed to have intercourse to conceive?

  1. This is a sign that you are at your most fertile. Some people have this type of egg white cervical mucus for days. I myself only would get it for a day, so I started using PreSeed during my most fertile time. But this is the best time to try to conceive.

  2. As long as you're describing something that's see-through, really stretchy, slightly shiny ... that's the EWCM you're after and yes, you should BD as soon as you get it. Most women get it for about 3 or 4 days each cycle.

'Creamy' CM is, technically, something different and tends to resemble hand-cream. That's not what you're looking for (although it's perfectly normal as long as there's no odour!) I suspect 14th or 15th August was your ovulation date. 14 days after that, you can test if AF hasn't arrived.

  3. Yes the stretchy cervical mucus like egg white means who are at your most fertile state and is ovulating. You should have s*x when you see it because you are most likely to become pregnant.
