What can I do to stop a girl from giving me the silent treatment? I have called, emailed, sent messages on Facebook and no response from her. I lied to her about something and she stopped talking to me over 2 months ago. I thought she would come around by now, after my sincere apology. But nothing from her. I really like this girl and she is a great person, but I feel that she is gone out of my life forever. In a few days I will be in town near where she lives and I would love to visit her and I let her know this, but still the silent treatment. And no I did not cheat on her. The lie I told was to help out my custody case for my kids.

  1. The same happened to me with my cousin. She acused me of something I didn't said. I confronted her, and we had an argument on november 2005.

I tried to talk to her and she ignored me. She keeps ignoring me until this day.

A year ago I decided to do the same to her, she's being ignored too.

I'm, not wasting my time trying to be nice to her. She's really rude.

Don't waste your time on her, if you already apologized that's OK, if she doesn't respond ignore her, she's not worth your time.

  2. You can't make her do anything.  Write her a sincere letter of apology, let her know you'd still like to be friends, and ask her to call you.  The rest is up to her. If she doesn't reach out, you can only let her go.  Learn from this.  Once you lose someone's trust, it's very hard to ever get it back.
