I am looking for a group game to play with about 30 women. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. The game I have played with a group of that size is Taboo.  It's a party word game, and it is great for large groups because you play in teams and the game is great fun.  Check it out.  It is easy to learn and to play. Here is a link that tells about the game.

  2. Well, you probably won't find very many games that allow that many players - I've seen very few that can handle more than 6-8. Most games will tell you how many players it supports and the length for an average game (usually on the side of the box or on the back.) Of course, game lengths vary widely. Some may take far less than an hour for a game while others rarely finish in less than 4-6 hours.

  3. That's an impossible question to answer.  There's no such thing as a 'typical' game. There are games that take 15 minutes, and there are those that last 8 hours.

The only game that I know of that could handle that many people at one time is 'Werewolf'. It's free, and you can download the rules online.

  4. Taboo is an excellent game for a group that size.  You can even control the length of play.

If you are looking to have fun on the cheap- I'd suggest Charades.  You can have the players suggest titles and phrases for play.  Additionally, you can freshen it up by suggesting a theme.
