How long does the whole procedure of wisdom teeth extraction take? i am haing them removed this week?

  2. 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how attached they are to the bone

It depends if your wisdom teeth are fully erupted or not; if they are, it shouldn't take that long, depending on the experience of your oral surgeon.  Fully erupted teeth on the upper jaw take a shorter amount of time than on the lower jaw, since the bone in your lower jaw is much, much more condensed than the porous bone on top.  Anywhere between 15-40 minutes for fully erupted ones.

    For teeth that are partially or fully impacted, it will take longer, since the bone covering the teeth will need to be exposed.  That can take more time, since the teeth may need to be sectioned in order for them to be removed.  Anywhere between 45min - couple of hours, depending on how many as well.
