How long does tourist visa processing take in Italian consulate,san francisco(visa req. for nonUS citizen)?

I am a non US citizen and require the visa to visit. I am trying to get an idea of how many days on average is required to process an italian visa request in SF.

  1. It depends mainly on which country are you from and which is your purpose of travel.

    The Italian government has put up a website for foreigners who wish to come to Italy, containing all the necessary information. Click on the link posted as "source".


  2. Well, if you hold a passport FROM an EU country you don't need a tourist visitor's visa. You can visit for up to 90 days without penalty. Starting next summer, all persons from visa-waiver countries, including the EU, will have to register online before coming to the USA on a tourist visitor's waived visa.

  3. on the days it requires? nobody knows ahead of time, it all depends on your travel records and where you are originally from?
