  1. Do you mean tea tree oil? If so, it doesn't kill the zit, just speeds the healing. Reduces healing two days or so.


  2. Do you mean like the Burt's Bees tree oil treatment?

    Generally speaking, swelling is reduced overnight, and the zit, depending on the severity, should be gone in no more than three days. Minor zits should be gone within a day, while larger, deeper zits may near the three-day mark.

    I wouldn't suggest using it on any one area for more than three to four days at a time because you can end up severely drying and damaging your skin, which can lead to even more blemishes.

  3. It depends on many factors: your skin type, the severity of the zit, how old, any irritation, bacteria. It could take a few days to a few weeks.  People who get acne are usually deficient in zinc.
