  1. It cost me $495 b/c the dentist had a coupon for $100 off. I loved the results but in my experience I got burned (which isnt supposed to happen). I had it done yesterday morning and today I'm still sore. My teeth were a little sensitive but nothing major. My lips and gums were what bothered me.I really think it was b/c the lady who did it at the dentist office didnt put enough gel on my lips and gums to protect it. There are three 15 minute sessions and the first one was ok, just a little warm. The second session I started feeling like my mouth was getting burned and she applied gel to the roof of my mouth that was starting to swell a little. The 3rd time around I wanted to claw that lamp off of me! but it was well worth it and my teeth are amazingly white, but not un-natural. My gums burned just a little bit but they felt better in an hour. Its just today I woke up and my upper lip was swollen. Basically my tongue and lip felt like I burned it on HOT coffee or something. That shouldnt happen I think it was just my experience with the lady who did it. they cover your mouth inside with gauze and gel to protect anything pink from burning and I sat still the entire time. Either way, I'm very happy with my results and they say it lasts a long time if you brush 3 times a day and stay away from foods/drinks that can stain your teeth the first 48 hours. Whitening strips or toothpastes can't compare to this. They say whitening strips and pastes only take care of whitening the outer layer of your teeth just like you wash dirt off your car. Zoom whitens your teeth from the inside out and give you long lasting and natural results. Just make sure the person who does it knows how to do it and tell them you heard of someone getting burned (me) and that you dont want that to happen to you! owie..... good luck and let me know how ur experience goes!

  2. The average cost in the area I work in is $500-800 and that includes take home trays to touch up. It will last  a long time, but all whitening needs to be maintained. Depends on your habits-coffee, tea, soda, staining foods. The results vary, can be great for some not so great for others, depends on what color you are starting with.
