How long dose it take for a demestic white pekin duck to lay its egg?

I have 6 pekin ducks. 2 males 4 females. they already started mating. i read an article that said they lay their egg anywere and dont care for it. I want to no how long it takes them to lay there egg. and if possible try to incubate it bymyself.

They will start laying at about 6 months of age under proper lighting (more than 10-12 hours per day) otherwise you will need to wait until spring.  They tend to lay their eggs in the morning, sometimes daily, sometimes they skip a day (each individual is a little different).  They aren't particular about where they lay their eggs so if you contain them until morning, you can usually find their eggs pretty easily.
