How long for mite treatment to work on rabbits?

Question

I've treated my rabbit for ear mites (although he's scratching his head too), but I was wondering how long it would take for the treatment to kill the mites and if I had to comb them out or anything?

I need a little help here I've got no experience at all in this sort of thing

what sort of treatment are you using for the mites?

I find the best treatment for my rabbits is good quality cat/kitten flea control products that you can buy from your local vets- this should kill just about any parasite your rabbit can pick up in a month.

The dose will probably need to be changed, so weigh your bunny and talk about which treatment is appropriate (some can have dangerous side effects so you need the right brand) i think i used frontline on mine but cant remember.

I dont know if you have to comb them out- it would be hard to comb a rabbits ear!
