How long had you been with your partner when you first got pregnant and was the baby planned?

We had been off and on for 3 years.  We were engaged when I got pregnant on birth control.  When I was 14 weeks along, he abandoned me because he said he "had no feelings for the child and did not want it".  I am 30 and he is 27.

My husband and I had been together 5 years.. married a year and a half.. and I got pregnant the day he got home from Iraq. So planned.. she definitely was NOT. lol!

He was 23 and I was 22 when we got pregnant.

8 years together she is 2 now and I am expecting our second there is 13 years between my partner and I I was 25 when we had out daughter in September 2005 and he was 38, though age doesnt matter in the least.

my first son was planned after a year of being together (I was 18 almost 19, he was 22) , my second son was also planned and we were together for about 6 years by then. (we were married for 10 years altogether) Now 4 years later, I'm now preggo with #3, by a different daddy, we were only together for a few months and it was a surprise, (I'm 29 and so is he) and we couldnt be happier.

I was 22 when I found out I was pregnant and 23 when my son was born. My husband was 29 when we found out and 30 when he was born! And yes my son was planned!

We were together a year and a half before we got pregnant. We had been trying, but stopped, so he was planned in a way...but at the same time a surprise. I was 21 and he was 22.

I've been with  my partner since we both graduated high school in June of 2005. We moved in together just two months or so after starting to date (when I entered an emergency housing situation, sort of). We've been living together since then and decided last fall to start trying for a baby, so our pregnancy was planned. We also saw a doctor together before we started trying. We conceived this March (I'm 18 weeks pregnant now). I'm 21,and  I'll be 22 by the time the baby comes. My partner is 23. We had to plan things out carefully because I am a full time college student (studying to get my teaching degree), so the due date needed to be inbetween semesters. My partner has a career so we were financially stable. In fact, I think our financial stableness is kind of preplexing to others since unlike many friends of ours who "accidentally" conceived, we are able to buy all our big baby stuff ourself, and haven't had to depend on family to help pay my medical expenses (I have private insurance, which will also cover the baby, so no worries there either). I can't imagine the stress of an unplanned pregnancy so I'm glad that we were responsible about things.

My husband and I started dating in high school in 1989.  We were married in 1997 and our first child was born in 1998, second in 2002 and we just had our third seven weeks ago.  All three were planned.  We were both 25 when our first child was born.

We were married for 9 1/2 years before getting pregnant.  The baby was planned, but I got pregnant much sooner than anticipated.  We were not actively trying, but not trying not to either.  It happened the first time!  But we were ecstatic!
