Realistically, not very much longer.

She's going to be replaced with a younger and cuter model.

Hopefully in about 6 months, her ratings are tanking and she is just a repeat of every thing on the news...................have no idea who will replace her.....................

Its really silly to put so much importance in a mere newsreader.

She should be replaced by someone who is a little more neutral.  Couric is almost as biased as her predecessor.

I would think CBS might let her anchor through the election, and then start thinking about what to do next. That might not including getting rid of her, necessarily, but some sort of move in the news department might be necessary by then.

It's been a tough jump from morning programming, which has a lighter touch and which she obviously was great at, to the news, which requires more gravity. But CBS has bigger problems than just Couric.
