smith may be asked to fall on his sword long before christmas as other people have said , because having 7 strikers in the first team is a joke when the management only plays one up front ,smith and his under-lings must have known ferguson was going under the knife for some period of time so why did they not do something an awful lot sooner .as for the guy they have bought from charlton i do not think that he will be any use at all, after all he could not get a game at charlton so we go and buy him because he is cheap. i think that smith & co may very well be drawing their dole money before ferguson returns and that will be october at the earliest and the season may very well be over at the end of september and it pains me to say it .
