I went off the pill in february and have had 4 periods since and only 2 of them were 28 days apart. the last one I had was 2 1/2 weeks late. It's been 6 months..just wondering how many of you have had similar issues and how long did it take to get back on track?

  1. I totally know how you feel - before becoming pregnant with my first child I had been on the pill for about 7 years or so, after coming off the pill I had cycles ranging from 3 weeks to about 7 weeks in length - not exactly easy to try for a baby when you have no idea when you could be ovulating!!  After about 6 months I got pregnant and I must of been going to have a reasonably normal cycle because I found out when my period would have been due if I had a 28 day cycle.  Try looking at your mucous cycle and also checking your temperature as this may give you somewhat of an indication of when you might be ovulating.  When we started trying for our second baby I expected the same thing to happen again but I got pregnant in the first month of trying.
