How long has my guinea pig been pregant?

She doesn't seem to be carrying a large litter but still she's kinda chubby

Just like someoen else stated it takes about two and a half months for guineapigs to kindle...

When the babies are born they have their eyes & ears open, already have fur & teeth. They even nibble at solid food after a couple days old.

You need to make sure dad is NOT around the mom when she is delivering and preferibly not at all after the babies are born. If hes around he will try to breed imediately & the mom most likely will get pregnate again & not be able to remove the sacks from the babies.... meaning they will die :(

OH YEAH! I hope she is under a year old... if she is any older her hip bones have most likely fused and she will not be able to deliver the litter.

we introduced our guinea pigs to eachother the 21 of december. my nancy gave birth march 13th. So guinea pigs are pregnant about 2  1/2 months. it's hard to tell without a pic. but you'll know she's close to her due date when you see visible bumps on both sides of her. DOn't handle her! Be very gentle when you do!

expect 2-5 baby piggies

although my nancy had 6 babies in one litter
