  3. Well, I've personally been here for 28 years but England's history is much older. I know for a fact that the Romans came here so that puts it at over 2000 years. Interestingly, for me anyway, my home town, Wigan, is truly ancient in itself. It used to be a Roman fort that went my the name of coccium.

    Anyway. From what I can find out, it would seem that people, Homo Sapiens to be specific, have lived in England for around 13,000 years.
