  2. FOREVER......... our native ancestors developed the necessary items to make them, as corn was an essential part of their daily nutrition. So it's been centuries since they have been around....

  6. Definitely a very long time.  Corn was developed in Mexico around 7000 years ago I think, so some time after that.
