I have been a NY Mets fan ever since I got into baseball when I was 14 years old. That was when the Mets beat the Red Sox in 7 games in the 1986 World Series.

Don't know if you're too young to remember, but look into what Boston's famous (or infamous) 1st baseman, Bill Buckner, is remembered for in the game 6 of that World Series.

New York Yankees fan since I was 4 years old (1979). Grew up loving Reggie, but Dave Winfield was my man along with Don Mattingly. I couldn't imagine rooting for any other team.

Don't get it twisted. Brooklyn natives aren't all Mets fans.

I'm a Cardinal fan and I've been a fan ever since I was introduced to MLB in 2005. The funny thing is that the first MLB game I saw on tv was the last playoff game which was a Cardinals-Astros game at the old Busch Stadium and the Cardinals lost, sending Astros to the World Series. lol
