  1. over my life (13 years i have had

    11 goldfish

    4 zebra danios

    3 gold zebra danios

    1 kyathit danio

    1 leopard danio

    1 bronze corydora

    1 albino corydora

    1 CAE

    1 apple snail

    and

    1 axolotl

  2. Most fish I have had had died of age, the longest fish I have had are blue gourami's and I tried to kill them, it was unsuccessful, Just have a good water change regimen, compatible fish in the proper size tank, do starve them or over feed them and most fish live 5-7 years, unless it is a goldfish then they can live 15-30 years.

  3. Not very .

    LOL

  4. 1. beta fish

    2. still alive (after 3 yrs ^.^)

    3. i put him nere a window and gave him sunlight. i used a fish tank with no filter or bubbler becuse betas dont need that. i washed maybe 1 ever 3 months (really hasnt gotten bad at all. i feed him ever other day a small pinch or food.

    4. hasnt died. maybe old age possibly. lol

  5. well i had a betta fish that lived in a small tank. it lived two years. i had a filter, fakew seaweed and a log it could go in. i fed it those worms that are used for betta fish, and yeah. oh and i used water condishoner to take the cloreen out. but whats CRAZY is that i had a friend who had the same kind of fish. BUT she had a TINY bowl for it. im talking smaller than a breakfast mug. and it had no filter, no anything. she did not even declorinate the water. she forgot to feed it most of the time, i was the usual one to feed it when i came over once every week... she hardly cleand the bowl either. his name was blu, he lived till he was four. FOUR! thats like unheard of. well thats one of the great myterries of the world, like how my very first fish (a betta too) died a day after i got him, and he was in exactly the same living condishions as my two year old one. so some last years and some last hours. its life. short, or long its still life and you cant change its course.

  6. My dad kept some sort of spotted catfish for like a little over a decade.

It died because we moved and he had to disassemble the 55gallon it was in.  When he took it to the pet store to sell the poor thing speared itself with one of its barbs.

My grandfather had a large chiclid for a couple decades that we all presume died of old age.

All those fish were housed in 55gallon+ tanks and fed a varied and healthy diet and just kept the tank clean beyond that.  No real "secret".

  7. 1 comet goldfish

2 still living since 2003 and still is

3 i used a tank 50 gallon tank (broke) and i always spoted out diseases fast!!! i love my little comet so much!!!

    4 his name is Hubert

5 nothing he hasnt died and i hope he doesnt

  8. i have had a hard time keeping fish alive. i have had all kinds and most died within a month or so. i bought some zebra danios and some cory catfish and they have been alive for over 6 months now.

  9. 1 and 3/4 of a year and still living! Haha I know it's not that long but the longest MY fish has ever lived! He is a betta and I just keep him in a bowl with his friend (divided.)

  10. My mom has a goldfish in a bowl that she's had for three or four years now.  She puts tap water in a big jug and lets it sit out for a few weeks.  This somehow rids it of chlorine, plus gets it to the same temp as the water already in the bowl.  She adds this when his water gets low (which it does a lot since both of her cats drink out of the bowl, while the fish is in there!).
