  1. do you mean the NBC? you can check the processing timelines at www.uscis.gov or you may also call immigration and ask them when is your priority date. ;)


  2. Dognhorsemom knows what she's talking about. but they contact the petitioner as well, and sometimes the petitioner is slow to respond. Plus, to some extent it depends on where you are as the NVC schedules interviews in some locations, but not in others.

  3. Do you mean, how long will it take for an approved petition with a current priority date to get from NVC to the US embassy or consulate where you will apply for your immigrant visa?  It will take about two months for them to receive the file electronically and the paper file, log it in, and be ready to schedule your interview appointment.
