How long in college do you have to be in for being a vet?

Well i want to be a vet when i grow up but i don't know how much years it is???

About 8 years.

4 years of college and 4 years of vet school.

Get really good grades in high school because that will up your chances that you will be accepted into the vet school.  It's tough to get in and requires more study that human doctors.  

The best thing you can do is get what is required from the vet school you are going to attend and go by that.
