  1. If maintained aggressively beyond OEM minimum requirements, 200K is certainly possible.  OCI being at no greater than 3,750 miles is critical!

Remember, OEM minimum maintenance requirements are just to get the car out of initial OEM warranty period when all the big stuff that then later fails is on the owner's dime.

  2. That's like asking how high is up.  It all depends on how the car is driven and maintained.

  3. It COULD, but it's unlikely. Unless you maintain it meticulously and get a really good car, you probably can't get 200k without major expenses. You will have gone through probably a half dozen brake changes (G brakes and tires don't last), a few tune-ups, maybe one to three sets of tires, and five figures worth of gas (200,000 miles/16 mpg = 12,500 gallons x $4 for premium = ~$50,000).

  4. From the record Nissan has, 200k should be no problem with the RIGHT maintenance.

    1) Use synthetic lubricants like all the high end cars use.  BMW even goes 25k miles on their oil changes with synthetic.  Amsoil now has a 25k oil filter and motor oil or once a year.  Of course, stay within the OEM oil change miles (7500 miles?) until the warranty ends (60k?).

    2) keep it washed and waxed, including the wheel wells to prevent rust and paint from drying up.  Garage keep it if possible.  Don't drive on salty winter roads either.  Also, keep your engine bay washed of dirt and grease.  This prevents prematured drying of rubber parts and other issues.
