How long intill i can actually eat food again?

i just got braces, i havent been able to eat like anything. i got them on wed. & i have only been able to swallow food. but i only eat about once every 24hours. i have lost my appitite.

Yes, it really just depends. When I got my braces, I think I could've eaten something right away if it weren't for the fact my dentist told me to wait a while. My friends however also struggled with the whole eating/chewing process. It wore off after about a week or two though. Things should be alright by then. Just hang in there!
