How long into drivers ed do i get my learners permit in TEXAS?

i start drivers ed on july 7 and it ends july 28.

is it true you get your permit a couple weeks after being into the program?

Oh ya its really quick. Ya I think its like two weeks.

Its easier that way because a lot of drivers ed is on the road and its easier to understand the info when you can relate it.
