in welcome to the 60's from hairspray. im going to sing it for an audition in high school musical, do you think thats approprite? and reading a monologue by regina george from mean girls. tell me what you think.

if this is a professional job/gig, i suggest you do something less well known.  hairspray, now that it came out in theatres and was the #1 musical in theatres, is really popular, and regina george is from a top box office hit movie...i know casting directors don't like that.  if this is for a small production, that's fine...but if you were to keep one of the two, keep the song, but get rid of the monologue from mean girls.  bad move on that.
