I would visually guesstimate that line @ 2 inches.

You can't get a reliable answer this way as the length on your screen will vary according to screen resolution.

Try this: the dimensions of standard switch and electrical outlet coverplates are 2-3/4 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall; in other words, a bit under 3 X 5 inches.

You no doubt have those around, so you can use this for reference

about the width of your pc mouse

5 inches is about the length of same mouse
