How long is OPT valid for??

I will be graduating on f1 visa on associate degree in march 2009 and for how long will I get a OPT afte i graduate??

If used after graduation, OPT must be completed within 14 months of graduation. For OPT eligibility, the student must apply with USCIS for an EAD card using form I-765. The F-1 OPT employment cannot begin until actually receiving the EAD card in hand from the USCIS.
