I was thinking you may as well ask how long is a piece of string and when I see the first answer that's what they've said.  Why don't you ask how big a dog is while you're at it.  What type of snake would be helpful to us

A bit wide open on this question. They can vary from just a few inches long to 22 ft. in length.  Depends upon the species...
