About how long is a bridal shower?

And what do you do there?

I have to go to one tomorrow with my mom.

It depends on the shower. It could be 2 hours long, it could be 6 hours long. At most showers you will play some silly (but often fun) games, eat food and watch the bride open her shower gifts. Loads of girl talk and giggling will ensue.

mine was like 4 to 5 hours, cause like no one would leave!! lol, we had a blast though, but traditionally you play games (normally based on the knowledge of the bride, o and take observation of what she's wearing because sometimes they play a game where the bride leaves and you have to write down everything she's wearing!!! o and you eat!! lol

usually they are around 3 hours or 4 hours at most.  you'll get there and at first just mingle with people and have snacks, then they'll serve a meal. after eating ,the bride will open all her gifts in front of everyone, then you'll have dessert (or they may serve dessert while she is still opening the gifts) and after she finishes opening everything, you leave.

It depends on what kind of shower it is and who's giving it.  If it's being given by a church the bride and her mother and future mother in law greet the guests as they come in.  The guests then go to the refreshment table for cake and punch then go to see the gifts on the gift table.  That kind of shower usually lasts 1 1/2 - 2 hours but the guests come and go when they want to.  If it's like a linen, kitchen, or lingerie shower it can last longer depending how long it takes the bride to open the gifts and if the hostess has planned an activity or game.

It all depends.  The last one I hosted was meant to last 3 hours and ended up being about 4 1/2.  You play games, eat, mingle with people, and watch the bride open presents!!

Most that I have been to have been between 2 and 3 hours. It all depends on what the shower planners have in store for you. Usually games are played, food is served, and the bride-to-be opens presents.
