How long is a normal Air Force pilot contract

im interested in going into the military, but i need to to know how long an Air Force contract for a fighter jet is, thatnk you.

Doesn't matter what weapon system one ends up in.  One signs the commitment after being accepted to SUPT, but before departing to start training.

The current commitment is ten years, AFTER graduation.  SUPT is about 15 months, give or take.

Weapon system comes into play for issues like return-to-fly for officers who have gone on to staff jobs (whether they wish to fly again or not), and stop-loss.

Dude, your not going to be a pilot without a bachelors degree.  You can enlist when you graduate high school but enlisted men do not fly. Go to school and get a degree first (and go to your schools AFROTC).  Or consider applying for the Air Force Academy.  After you enter active duty you will have to sign a 4 year service agreement.
