The base where I fly from our runway is 8,000 feet. That's for the Cessna 172 to Citation X.

3-4,000 feet for a general aviation airport.

Gibraltar's airport is 6,000 feet, good for medium sized jets to fly to the European or African continent.  It is unique that it has the only road into Gibraltar going right across the runway.
