  1. 3.4m. Everyone knows that.

  2. The string has length say x.

    now x is the length of the string

    2x is twice its length.

    3x is thrice its length.

    Therefore 3x - 2x = x

    Now is we divide them both by two and cube then

    (3x - 2x)/2^3 = x/2^3

    Now if we simplify we get:

    x=x

    means 0 = x/x

    so if u take two strings of the same length the length becomes zero.

    There the only plausible reason is that one of the strings is made of antimatter.

    Now antimatter being totally OPPOSITE of matter should therefore be measured in negative.

    therefore :

    0 = x/x

    0 = x/-x

    -x = x

    -0  = x/-x (again antimatter)

    -0 multiplied by -x = x

    -  = x . as 0 multiplied by x is 0 and 0 having no value is not printed

    so finally - = x

    Now taking a vernier callipers (an advanced measuring device) measure the length of -

    as - = x which is the length of the string.

    When i measure it my string measures 3.2 mm.

    Measure the - on your screen and VOILA!

    You get the length of the string.

  3. Seriously now!!

    If you mean like in the do-it-yourself projects when they say "take a piece of string and tie"... etc

    Then the length of the piece of string is enough to go around what you want to tie plus a little more for the knots

  4. Twice as long as half its length.

  5. measure the b*****d and find out

  6. It depends on the speed between you and the string.

    It's not twice the length than the half of it!

    (Except if the string is not moving)

  7. However long the string wants itself to be. We live in a free society.

  8. twice as long as half it's length

  9. Double the length from one side to the middle!

  10. however long you want it to be

  11. Measure it and you will get the answer(=

  12. If the piece of string as travelling near the speed of light, it will be shorter than itself.
