How long is a voter's registration card good for?

I forgot when I registered, I think it was in '06...can I use it to vote this year?

I don't know anything about these things!

good until you move out of county OFFICIALLY so yes

until you change your name, or move, or stop voting.

It depends on your state, usually as long as you vote every so often your registration automatically renews. Certainly if you registered in '06 you are registered now.

But make sure, if you moved since you registered, that you update your registration. Just call your election board and find out how to do that.
