How long is it from woodland to southern california?

i need to know the quickest way to get their and how long it would take and about how much it would cost ill be taking bus and train so im not driving their.

catch amtrak train in sacramento or davis which will take you through santa barbara, los angeles and san diego... depending where you are going in southern california. the train has a "schedule" but it is not set in stone since freight trains have priority on the rail tracks before passenger trains. if you have a definite arrival time planned in southern california, you should leave earlier than you think is necessary. i took the train from reno and arrived in sacramento 6 hours later than scheduled.

But you don't say where in southern California.  Southern California is not a destination on any trasportation route since it's not a particular city.

Only take the train if you don't care how long it takes to get THERE. My daughter took the train from Reno to Emeryville and was 9 hrs late. Where in Southern California are you going? Your destination could make a 4 hr. difference, Southern California is a big place.
