How long is it safe to keep a frozen ready meal out of the freezer?

I went to the supermarket today and bought a chicken and bacon pasta bake (frozen). I took 15 minutes to get home and then spent about an hour unpacking the shopping. I forgot to put the ready meal in the freezer first so it sat on the work surface.

It was not a hot day today and the car was quite chilly. Should I throw this meal or is it ok to eat? I think it should be ok as it was only out the freezer for 90minutes TOP but just wanted to check here.

It was still very cold when i touched it but some of the outside ice had melted (to be expected).

Your food should be fine, unless it has COMPLETELY thawed out.

It doesn't sound like that is the case, so enjoy!

Don't waste it - just cook it today sometime. Then re-freeze it if necessary!!
