  1. Stop stretching when your muscles can take it any longer. If you stretch too much, you could tear a muscle or something. It depends on your flexibility really on what is the right amount of time- if you are having trouble with a certain stretch or if you are stiff, you might want to stretch it a little longer. Always do the same stretch on both sides, otherwise you'll become lopsided. If you feel no stretch when your in your straddle, theres no point. I wouldn't sit there for more than an hour, just in case your muscles tighten up all at once. You do want to stretch everything, though, for more than a minute at the least because you can lose your stretch right away and might even get tighter. i hope this helps. have fun dancing!!

  2. no STOP...don't hold for more than 20min...even that is pushing it...you could tear muscles and cause serious injury's...

  3. i wouldn't, otherwise you probably won't be able to walk for a few days, trust me, once i slept in the froggie stretch, oh man, just dont, trust me

  4. tops 20 mins

  5. Stretch for twenty minutes AT THE MOST! You can tear muscles if you push you muscles to hard.
